Mount Roberts Mining - Gold Mining leases

Mining leases M36/341 and M36/279

The project involves 2 granted mining leases which would make an excellent gold exploration target in any West Australian mining and exploration investment portfolio. The tenements , are free of native title restrictions and are located in a significant gold producing area.

A resource on M36/341 has been estimated at 60,000 tonnes at 3.0g/t by a recognised senior geologist in Western Australia and there is no doubt that this resource would be further defined and increased with additional drilling. We  have interpreted the previous drilling and strongly believe that the drilling was not in the optimum direction to intersect the main gold mineralised structures hosting the orebody.>

The owners are looking for an outright sale price for the tenements and are willing to negotiate a reasonable fair sale price. We value the 2 Mining Leases M36/341 & M36/279 on the above resource with an in ground value of approximately $70/ounce.

Leinster Mining Lease M36/341

The gold mineralisation and line of gold workings occurs in a north trending shear in a quartz veined, strongly weathered basalt. A north plunging quartz vein set (30-40 degrees north) and an east-north-east (50-60 degrees) striking, south-east (60 degrees) dipping set of joint planes are both evident along this north trending mineralised shear.

The south dipping joint planes are particularly evident in the south shaft north wall at 265224E, 6915588N and in the pit adjacent to the north shaft at 265170E, 6915778N.

The significance of this south dipping east-north-east striking feature is possibly a controlling factor in the higher grade gold structures. It could explain why the drill program orientated at 240-255 degrees azimuth did not intersect the high grade ore shoots.

A strong shear at the Rankin Mine south of M36/341 is interpreted to continue north through M36/341 while offset by east-west trending faulting at approximately 265400E, 6915200N. Evidence of this east-west cross cutting structures is found in the extreme disruption and silicification of the mafic units east of the alluvial workings at approximately 265100E, 6915200N.

Thus the mineralised shear at the southern shaft on M36/341 is thought be a northern extension of the Rankin Shear.

Kathleen Mining Lease  M36/279

The mineralised structure at the Kathleen workings seems to be one of several north-west, south-east fractures transecting the main axial plane of the Leinster Anticline.
